A driver is facing a driving under the influence charge following a crash in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash at 2:49 a.m. on Monday along Mount Eaton Road in Ross Township.

Troopers determined the 31-year-old woman from Saylorsburg, who they declined to identify, crashed her 2017 Jeep into a tree. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed.
