Woman’s Club

The members of the Nesquehoning Woman’s Club will hold their opening dinner meeting on Sept. 9 at the Tamaqua Station Restaurant.

Madeline Ligenza, reservation chairwoman, is accepting reservations, 610-392-0829.

The club will hold its first regular monthly meeting on Oct. 7 at the Nesquehoning Historical Society building, 157 W. Railroad St. The program will be presented by Rachel Wydra/Pennsylvania Department of Health.

New members are always welcome.

Coaldale

Office closed

Coaldale borough secretary’s office will be closing at noon on Friday. The office will be closed Monday through Wednesday.
