ShopRite has opened a hiring center at the Stroud Mall in advance of opening its newest supermarket, which is under construction at the mall.

The supermarket plans to employ more than 250 associates, including new and existing associates, for full- and part-time positions when the new store opens later this year.

The hiring center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Interested candidates can visit the hiring center to fill out an application or apply online by visiting https://shop.shoprite.com/globaldata/banner-pages/careers.

The store is hiring for positions in food and beverage management, cake decorators, bakery clerks, personal shoppers and other various positions.

Owned and operated by Village Super Market Inc., which operates 30 ShopRite stores throughout New Jersey, Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania, the new store will combine a state-of-the-art supermarket with a variety of restaurant-style elements including Bin37 Tavern, an in-store dining spot, as well as offering fresh, prepared foods at specialty kiosks from store rolled sushi to store smoked barbecue.
