The Lehighton Area Band Booster Association is looking for vendors for the fourth annual Meadow Muffin Bingo and Fall Festival on Oct. 5. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the old stadium by the middle school.

There is no entry fee for school-related groups and organizations. Basket donations for a basket raffle would be appreciated, but it is not required. Bring tables, tent and chairs. The type of fundraiser is up to the group, and the only guideline is to not duplicate other fundraising activities except bake sales and drinks. A general plan should be ready before reserving spot.

For professional outside vendors, the entry fee is $20 or more basket donation toward the basket raffle.

Lehighton Area Band Booster Association will be in the old football concession stand selling hot foods as well as drinks and baked goods.

There will be a mac-in-cheese tasting contest. Participants must preregister and include a list of ingredients.

The main event is a “meadow muffin” bingo. Presale tickets are $5. Additional tickets will be available the day of the event. The lower practice field will be marked off into squares, and the squares sold. A sheep will be brought in by a local farmer, and the square the sheep leaves its first “muffin” near or on wins.
