The Tamaqua Community Arts Center has announced upcoming events.

• Aug. 16: Liz Russo, Paul Spratt & Raj Belani present a night of Stand-Up Comedy. 8 p.m. There is a fee. Mature content and strong language. Event is for adults 18 and older. This is a fundraiser for Hope & Coffee & Tamaqua. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

• Aug. 17: Jam Session hosted by Seth Epler. 6 to 9 p.m. Free to spectators. $3 registration fee for musicians. Drum kit, piano, mics and monitors provided. All others should bring instruments. Musicians and vocalists should come prepared with a list of songs they play with ease. Groups or individuals welcome.

• Aug. 21: Farmhouse Favorites with Amy Mogish. 6:30 p.m. There is a fee. Includes one prepared wood canvas and pattern. Sign up at www.classicamyjoanne.com.
