Dimmick Memorial Library, 54 Broadway, Jim Thorpe has announced the following events.

• The library’s Board of Directors meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 13 in the Jim Thorpe Borough Hall.

• The Dimmick Lego Club will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 28.

• The Dimmick Book Club will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 14 in the library.

• The Dimmick Lab Rats: STEM Saturday event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 17. A science-themed project is planned.

• Summer reading at the library ends Aug. 17. Get in any last minute reading slips for library’s final drawing.

Dimmick Library’s Saturday summer hours will end on Aug. 24. After that, the library will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
