Music in the park
Music in the Park continues at Kennedy Park in Lansford on Sunday at the gazebo, next to the Panther Valley Football Stadium on Route 209.
The Crossroads Duo from Tamaqua will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. The group, made up of locals Sterling Koch and Jack Kulp, perform southern country blues.
Music in the Park is sponsored by Lansford Alive Events Committee. Admission is free. Refreshments will be sold. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Proceeds benefit the revitalization of Kennedy Park.
Summit Hill
Tax collector’s office
will be closed
The office of Summit Hill Tax Collector Kathleen Crampsie will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 6-8, due to vacation.
Her weekly office hours schedule will resume the following week, as follows: Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 from 4:30-7 p.m., and Aug. 14 from 9:30 a.m.-noon.
