Christine Tarone, 49, of Stroudsburg, is facing charges of driving under the influence of drugs after state police stopped a car she was driving at 9:46 p.m. July 23 on Route 209, just north of Old Route 115 in Hamilton Township.

Police said she was driving a 2019 Hyundai Kona and they stopped her for motor code violations.

She appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center but refused to submit to a blood test.
