July 27, 2008 — Brett Kosciolek and Nate MacDonald combine on a three-hitter to lead Tamaqua’s 10-11 Little League all-stars to a 4-2 victory over Council Rock Northampton in the Section 6 tournament. Kosciolek, who goes 5 1/3 innings before reaching his pitch limit, walks two and strikes out five. MacDonald relieves and gets a strikeout and groundout to preserve the win. MacDonald also delivers a two-run triple in the contest, while Nico Agosti adds a pair of hits, one an RBI single. Tamaqua, managed by Caszy Kosciolek, also receives a run-scoring hit from Ben Miller.
