Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club will be having its annual Summerfest from 6-10 p.m. Saturday. This is the second year of the event.

“We hope to see a crowd to come and support us,” membership secretary and activities committee member Jen Nenscel said. “The money raised will go toward the activities we provide for the community.”

Mountain Valley Kitchen and Catering will have clams, chicken barbecue, corn on the cob, French fries and fried Oreos available for purchase. The club will also sell hot dogs and hamburgers. Alcohol will be available for purchase. Food and drink sales are cash only.

There will be a Chinese auction and entertainment by Jesse Wade.

The event is open to the public of all ages. Free admission and parking.

Smoking is permitted strictly outside.
