Three females were injured, one seriously, in a crash Sunday night in Jim Thorpe. The crash occurred just after 8 p.m. in the 1400 block of Center Avenue. The driver of the car lost control while rounding a curve in the roadway and struck a utility pole, snapping it. One of the females was flown by medical helicopter to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center in Allentown. Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
