A Northampton County woman entered guilty pleas in three pending criminal cases on Tuesday before Judge Steven R. Serfass in Carbon County court.
Shaina Poshefko, 32, of Walnutport, pleaded to one count each of driving under the influence, criminal trespass, as a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Poshefko was arrested on the DUI charge on May 27, 2018, by Lansford police along Bertsch Street. A test revealed a 0.21 BAC and also the presence of a controlled substance.
She was arrested on the trespass count on June 3, 2018, by Nesquehoning police at a residence along West Columbia Street. The drug count stems from an incident on Aug. 28, 2018, filed by Nesquehoning police.
Poshefko previously pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested by Lansford police on May 30, 2018, for having illegal drugs in her possession.
Serfass accepted the pleas but deferred sentencing so Poshefko can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation for the DUI charge.
She is facing a mandatory prison term for the DUI count.
