Are you new to Medicare? Need help choosing a plan?

A free APPRISE educational program that will provide information on Medicare will be held at the community room in St. Luke’s Gnaden Huetten campus, Lehighton from 3 to 4:30 on Wednesday.

Topics that will be covered include getting started on Medicare; Parts A, B, C and D; how and when to enroll, choosing the right health coverage and prescription drug coverage; avoiding penalties; getting extra help with payment; and supplemental insurance policies.

If you are unable to attend this session, additional sessions will be held at the same location at 6-7:30 p.m. on June 26; 3-4:30 p.m. on Sept. 5; and 6-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 10.
