The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, weather permitting.

Carbon County

• Lower Towamensing Township: Hahns Dairy Road between Cherry Hill Road and Little Gap Road, expect lane restrictions with flaggers, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

• Franklin Township: Fairyland Road between Canal Street and Canal Street, expect lane restrictions with flaggers. 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

• Banks Township and Beaver Meadows Township: West Oak Street and East Market Street between Schuylkill County Line and Route 93, expect lane restrictions with flaggers, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lehigh County

• South Whitehall Township: Cedarbrook Road between Walnut Street and Dorney Park Road, road will be closed and detoured for week and detour will utilize Broadway, Haines, Mill Road Route 222 and Lincoln Avenue. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept 9.

• Upper Macungie Township: Route 100 North between Route 222 and Interstate 78, expect stopped traffic and use caution – lane closed, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday.

• Upper Macungie Township: Route 100 South between I-78 and Route 222, expect stopped traffic and use caution – lane closed, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

• South Whitehall: Mauch Chunk Road between Cedar Crest Boulevard and 18th Street, expect mobile operation flagging, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

• North Whitehall Township: Game Preserve Road between Route 309 and Mill Creek Road, expect mobile operation flagging, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

• North Whitehall Township: Mauch Chunk Road between Cedar Crest Boulevard and 15th Street, expect lane restrictions and use caution. 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday,

• Upper Macungie Township: I-78 East between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County line, expect stopped traffic and use caution, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

• Upper Saucon Township: I-78 West between Northampton County line and Exit 49 (Route 100), expect lane restrictions westbound, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

• South Whitehall Township: Route 309 between: Walbert Avenue and Orefield Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

• Washington Township, Route 873, Route 309 and Neffs Laurys Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday.

Monroe County

• Delaware Water Gap Borough, Interstate 80 at Exit 310 (Delaware Water Gap), between Exit 309 (Route 209) and New Jersey State Line, nighttime work, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Route 209 and Interstate 80, expect daytime lane restrictions, northbound lane, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; southbound 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

• Chestnuthill Township and Polk Township: Route 209 between Gilbert Road, Mountain Road and Carbon County line, expect daytime lane restriction and use caution.

• Stroud Township: Route 209, Interstate 80 and Schafers Schoolhouse Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 North, between Lehighton and US 209/ Route 33 Split, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

Northampton County

• Lehigh Township: Route 248 and Lehigh Drive between Airport Road and Carbon County line, expect flagging in both lanes and use caution, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

• Lehigh Township: Route 145, between Blue Mountain Drive and Lehigh Drive, drainage work, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

• Lehigh Township / Moore Township: Route 946 / Mountain View Drive, between Hock Road and Lehigh Drive, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

• Multiple townships: I-78 West between Morgan Hill Road (Exit 75) and Lehigh County line, expect shoulder restrictions, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Schuylkill County

• Butler and New Castle townships, Interstate 81, Highridge Park Road (Exit 119) and Route 61 (Exit 124), lane restriction northbound through noon Friday, lane restriction southbound from 10 p.m. Sunday to 10 p.m. Thursday.

• Ryan Township / Schuylkill Township, Brockton Mountain Drive between Burma Road and Route 209, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Rush Township: Fairview Street between Route 54 and Route 309, expect flagging and delays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Rush Township: Lincoln Drive between Route 54 and Route 309, expect delays and use caution. 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
