A woman was injured Thursday morning in a crash in West Penn Township.
The crash occurred at 6:30 a.m. along Route 443 near the intersection with Mantzville Road.
The woman was traveling the roadway in a heavy rain when she hydroplaned, striking a set of guide rails.
She was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance then transported to a local hospital.
West Penn Chief of police Brian Johnson is investigating the incident.
