Tamaqua’s Sarah Maue will continue her academic and athletic career at Allegheny College, where she will participate in cross country and track and field.

Maue was a Schuylkill League All-Star in cross country for four years and a state qualifier three times. She capped a stellar track and field career with a sixth-place medal as a member of the Raiders’ 3200 relay team this past season.

In addition to her six years of track and field and five years of cross country, Maue was also a member of the swimming program for four seasons.

Maue is a member of Math National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, National Honor Society, treasurer of Student Government, Biology Club, World Language Club, Chemistry Club, Physics Club, as well as an acolyte and lector in her church.

The daughter of Robert and Trudy Maue, Sarah will major in chemistry at Allegheny.
