State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following crashes:

Troopers said Christopher Czonstka, 24, of Allentown, was merging onto 248 eastbound in the right lane while Kristin J. Kistler, 28, of Lehighton, was traveling eastbound in front of Czonstka. Kistler started to brake as the vehicle in front of her was braking. Czonstka did not see Kistler braking. The front of his 2003 Dodge Ram truck hit the rear of Kistler’s 2016 Jeep Cherokee.

No one was injured. The Dodge was towed. Czonstka was cited for the crash.

The crash occurred when Schaeffer, driving a 2010 Ford Focus, drove through a stop sign and struck a 2007 Toyota driven by Mackes.

Police said a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling westbound on Fireline Road from the Palmerton Area High School and approached the four-way stop sign at Maple Street, intending to turn left, at the same time a 2016 GMC Canyon was eastbound. Police said the two vehicles stopped at the same time and the Equinox began to make a turn onto Maple Street when the Canyon started to head east on Fireline Road, striking the Equinox in the right side passenger back door. Police did not release the names of the drivers.

• No one was injured and damages were termed minor in a crash at 11:55 a.m. May 18 on North Fireline Road in Parryville.

Police said Dave Schwartz, 64, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado northbound and attempted to make a three-point turn. Police said he pulled into a driveway and while backing onto the roadway struck a pole.

The vehicle sustained minor rear bumper damages.

• A tow truck was needed to pull a 1998 Honda Civic out of a ditch after the driver pulled off the road into a ditch in Lower Towamensing Township

Police said the driver was northbound at 9:05 p.m. May 19 on Blue Mountain Drive when he attempted to pull over and the car landed in the ditch on the right side of the road.

The vehicle was driven from the scene after a truck from Borger’s Towing pulled it from the ditch.

•A driver of a 2002 Ford E-350 that “rear-ended” a 2016 Honda CR-V at 1:45 p.m. May 18 on Route 115 in Hamilton Township will be cited for following too closely, police said.
