Peter Noone, Elton tribute on Penn’s Peak stage

Penn’s Peak announces tickets will go on sale for two new shows on Saturday.

Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone will return to the stage at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 and Elton Rohn — North America’s Premier Elton John Tribute will be on stage at 8 p.m. Aug. 23.

Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is a multitalented entertainer, who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. He was born in Manchester, England, where he studied voice and acting at St. Bede’s College and the Manchester School of Music and Drama.

At the age of 15, Peter achieved international fame as the lead singer of the legendary ’60s pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits included: “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” and more.

Throughout the ’70s, Noone performed, composed songs and produced recordings with such artists as David Bowie, Debby Boone and Graham Gouldman. In the ’80s, Noone starred on Broadway in the New York Shakespeare Festival’s production of “The Pirates of Penzance.”

His acting career flourished with guest-starring roles in prime-time television shows such as: “Married With Children,” “My Two Dads,” “Quantum Leap,” and more.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at ticketmaster.com, the Penn’s Peak Box Office and Roadies Restaurant and Bar.
