May 28, 2005 — Northwestern’s Megan Brown, Tamaqua’s Derrick Keich and Palmerton’s Casey Ord all earn medals at the annual PIAA Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University. Brown captures second place in the triple jump with a distance of 36-11, while Ord turns in an eighth-place finish in the same event with a mark of 35-9 1/4. Keich, competing in the 300 hurdles, registers a time of 40.86 in the finals to end with a sixth-place medal. The Blue Raiders’ Isaac Dunkelberger just misses a medal, taking ninth in the 1600.
