In honor of National Wine Day Saturday, Galen Glen Winery located in Andreas will host a variety of events during Memorial Day weekend.

National Wine Day serves as day for people to become more knowledgeable about the production of wine and food pairings.

Galen Glen Winery will kickoff the weekend with an opportunity to pair wine and food from the Randevoo Food Truck from 5-8 p.m. today.

Walking tours of the vineyard and the wine cellar with a wine educator will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 26, at 1 p.m. Visitors may participate in wine tasting as well. Smitty’s French Fries will be at the vineyard from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Wine slushies will also be served through Monday.
