The Schuylkill County Historical Society will host an Evening of Antiques Appraisal with George Blum from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdayat the society’s building at 305 N. Centre St., Pottsville.

Blum, a well-known antiques and collectibles expert, will appraise up to three items per person by appointment. The appraisal fees, which will be used to renovate the building’s third floor, are $5 for one item or $10 for three for members and $6 per item or $15 for three for nonmembers.

For those who just want to watch, admission is free to members and $3 for nonmembers.
