Mr. and Mrs. Rick Friese of Elizabethtown are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary on May 19. They were married at St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church in Lansford by the Rev. Kenneth Gould on May 19, 1984.

Mrs. Friese is the former Rhonda Vilcheck, daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Vilcheck of Coaldale.

Mr. Friese is the son of Will Friese of Annville and the late Elaine Friese.

The couple has a son, Eric, of Richmond, Virginia.

Mrs. Friese is a retired teacher from the Elizabethtown Area School District.

Mr. Friese is retired from Intralox, New Orleans.

A trip to Turks & Caicos is planned for the fall.
