Allison Andrew of Lehighton, a student at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, was recently inducted to the college’s chapter of the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society.
The national organization was founded in 1939 and the King’s chapter was established in 1964. Candidates for membership must have a record of “outstanding” academic accomplishment, a demonstrated commitment to service, and have completed at least 50 percent of their course work for a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade-point average of 3.6.
Andrew is a senior business management major with a minor in economics. She is a member of the Aquinas Society and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
She attended the 2017 faculty-led study abroad summer program to Vietnam and Singapore. She is secretary of the Finance and Investments Club and is a member of the Accounting Association, the women’s soccer team, and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She is also a Juvenile Justice Mentor.
