The Mauch Chunk Opera House has plenty of music in store this weekend.

Steal Your Peach fuses the music of The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead at 8 p.m. Friday.

Each musician has multiple projects currently both original and not, and have formed a bond here with some of our favorite and most influential music, paying close attention to detail of all of the original music, while also adding our own improv to the mix making each show unique and exciting, and to create a very tangible, symbiotic experience between the band and the listeners.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with showtime at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the venue will host Deadgrass (Jerry Garcia’s Musical Adventure).

Multi-instrumentalist Matt Turk and Grammy Award winner C Lanzbom have joined forces to form Deadgrass, an acoustic five-piece band that celebrates the music of Jerry Garcia.

Matt Turk has shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Judy Collins, The Doobie Brothers, Fiona Apple, the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and more. He has performed throughout the USA, Europe, Israel and the Caribbean, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Beacon Theatre and the Brooklyn Bowl.

Grammy Award winner C Lanzbom has spent years as a studio and touring guitarist. His performing, writing, engineering and producing credits include his own internationally acclaimed band Soulfarm, American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox, Shlomo Carlebach, and Pete Seeger with Bruce Springsteen.

Fiddler Michael Barrett Donovan is a student-composer, music educator and multi-instrumentalist from the north coast of California currently living in Brooklyn. Bassist Dave Richards has recorded and performed with The Indigo Girls, Rosanne Cash, Marshall Crenshaw, Jewel, Richie Havens and others.

Craig & Nyke Mother’s Day Show will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Craig Thatcher and Nyke Van Wyk captivate listeners of all ages with a unique blend of styles ranging from blues to rock, fingerstyle to Celtic and everything in between.
