In advance of the May 21 primary, the Palmerton Area Democratic Club’s monthly meeting at 7 p.m. May 14 will be a town hall with Democratic candidates for Carbon County Commissioner, Rocky Ahner, Bob Jacobs and Shawn Kresge, at the Palmerton Hotel, 302 Delaware Ave.

This meeting is free and open to all registered Democrats in Carbon County.

Those attending may submit written questions for the candidates to the club’s executive board for consideration.

The meeting will be preceded by an optional social hour and dinner at 6 p.m. Reservations are requested.

Meetings are held at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month from September to May at the Palmerton Hotel.
