Weatherly man charged for selling oxycodone pills to confidential informant

A Weatherly man has been charged after he sold oxycodone pills to a confidential informant on several occasions.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by patrolman Kyle Kaschak of the Weatherly Borough Police Department:

On Feb. 19, Kaschak interviewed a confidential informant who said they could purchase oxycodone pills from a man known as Ralph Fisher, 62.

The informant sent a text message to Fisher to arrange the purchase of 30 15 mg oxycodone pills for $300, and was under surveillance as they drove to Fisher’s residence and went inside.

The informant left Fisher’s residence along Doney Run Road, and under surveillance drove to a location, where the CI handed officers the pills.

On March 21, the informant purchased 40 15 milligram oxycodone pills for $300.

On April 22, the informant purchased 20 15 milligram oxycodone pills for $200.

After the transaction, officers went to Fisher’s residence.

Fisher, who uses a wheelchair, was outside the residence. He resisted arrest, injuring officer Charles McFeeley Jr.’s left wrist.

Fisher was then further restrained and transported to the borough police station.

Fisher faces charges of manufacture of controlled substance, drug, device or cosmetic; criminal use of communication facility; and resisting arrest.

He is currently incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail, and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. of Weatherly.
