Good Friday Tenebrae Service

A Tenebrae Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Good Friday, April 19 at Church on the Rock, 1 W. Hazard St., Summit Hill.

The distinctive ceremony of Tenebrae is the gradual extinguishing of candles while a series of readings are recalled.

This service focuses on the sacrifice and death of Jesus Christ.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansford will hold an Easter Sunday worship service on April 21 at 9:30 a.m. with Holy Communion. The Rev. Roy H. Koehler will officiate at this service. All are welcome to attend.
