Monroe Conservation District accepts orders for rain barrels

The Monroe County Conservation District is now accepting orders for rain barrels through next Wednesday. Pickup will be held between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 27, at the Monroe County Earth Day celebration, held at the Monroe Campus of Northampton County Community College in Tannersville.

Each barrel is made in Pennsylvania from recycled 58-gallon olive barrels, with brass fittings and an easy open screened lid. Barrels do not need to be hard fit and are easy to install.
