State police at Frackville said two Schuylkill County women, whose bodies were found in their Frackville home, died of natural causes, according to the results of an autopsy.

The bodies of Josephine M. Kodis, 97, and her niece, Christine M. Moran, 54, were discovered April 4 by Butler Township police.

Officers responded to the residence for a welfare check after a postal worker reported mail was piling up at the home. Township police then turned the investigation over to state police.

Troopers said an autopsy by Dr. Wayne Ross, a forensic pathologist in Dauphin County, determined the two died of natural causes.
