A woman was injured Sunday morning when involved in a crash in Franklin township.

The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pohopoco Drive and Harrity Road. The woman was an occupant of one of two cars that collided into the intersection. The victim was treated by Lehighton paramedics.

The Franklin Township fire company responded to the accident with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
