Friday’s cold temperatures and rain played havoc with the scholastic sports schedule as only one scheduled contest was able to be played.

Northwestern breezed to a 17-1 mercy-rule victory over Colonial League rival Northern Lehigh.
The Tigers (5-2, 3-1) put together three big innings, including a 10-run fourth.
Emily Akelaitis had a huge game for the Tigers as she singled, doubled, homered and drove in seven runs. Her homer was a three-run shot in the fourth that ended the game.
Also contributing offensively for Northwestern were Morgan Farthing (two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored); Molly Mitman (a double, four runs scored, two RBIs); and Brynn Balliet (a single, two RBIs, two runs scored).
For Northern Lehigh (1-5, 0-5), Lauren Hoffman singled home its only run.
