Street sweeper

The Tamaqua street sweeper will begin making its weekly rounds next week, which means residents will go back to making sure their vehicles are moved from certain streets before 5 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.

Several streets in the downtown area are permanently posted for Thursday and Friday street cleaning operations. These streets include Broad, Berwick, Center, Pine, Railroad, Nescopec and Swatara, which will be cleaned on April 11 and April 12.
