Pleasant Valley swept the singles matches and picked up one doubles win to defeat Central Catholic 4-3.

Singles players Josh Schaffner, Jake Ammermann and John Berry all won in two sets. Schaffner and Ammerman teamed up for a win in the No. 1 doubles match to seal the victory.

Palmerton’s Nate Andress won his match at No. 1 singles, but the Blue Bombers dropped a 4-1 Colonial League decision to Pen Argyl.

Andress won in straight sets to account for his team’s point total.

The loss dropped the Blue Bombers to 0-2.
