A man was flown to a trauma center early Tuesday morning after a crash in Nesquehoning.
Just after 2:30 a.m. New Columbus, Hauto, and Nesquehoning fire companies along with Lehighton ALS were dispatched to Route 209 between Nesquehoning and Jim Thorpe for a rollover crash.
A silver Chrysler minivan had lost control. The vehicle went off the road into a small ditch, went airborne striking a tree head-on.
It then spun across the road and came to rest in the oncoming lane against a guide rail.
Fire crews had to cut the victim from the vehicle. He was then transported to the baseball field in Jim Thorpe and was flown to a trauma center. Police are investigating the crash.
