“Now that daylight saving time is here and spring is coming, what are you going to do when it stays light outside longer?”
Derek Miller, seventh grade, Andreas“My mom and I like to do cleanups along the sides of the road. We like to clean up, and it’s also nice to take a walk, do something good at the same time.”
Leah Nelson, eighth grade,Tamaqua“I like to play football with my dad. We throw the ball back and forth. I like bike rides, basketball and hanging out with my friends.”
Kayla Jandrisevitz, seventh grade, Tamaqua“I usually go outside and hang around with friends. We like to go to the skate park. I don’t like to ride a skateboard, but it’s a nice park.”
Kylie Skodacek, seventh grade, Andreas“I will definitely spend more time outside and do outdoor crafts. I like to paint outside, mostly scenery.”
Kurt Breiner, seventh grade, Andreas“That means I will have an extra hour of working on the farm, getting ready to plow and plant. Right now we are trimming overhanging tree limbs from around the fields, and we’ll have more time to get that done.”
