CancerTelethon.org and the Lehighton Outdoor Center invite interested volunteers to attend the kickoff for their newest joint venture: LOCstock, a competitive raft race followed by an afternoon of music, amusement rides, food and fun.

The raft race is a rebirth to the event that was held years ago by the American Cancer Society. The music event picks up where Zoostock, an annual Labor Day event in Lansford, left off.

Everyone with ideas or interested in participating are invited to attend the meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Lehighton Outdoor Center.
