BLOOMSBURG (AP) — Police in Pennsylvania have issued a tongue-in-cheek press release requesting a hit-and-run driver turn themselves in — offering to return truck parts that fell off the driver’s vehicle during a series of collisions.

Locust Township Police say the driver took out five mailboxes and a speed-limit sign near an intersection Cleveland Township late Saturday or early Sunday. The Press Enterprise reports police said in their release that they are “confident” the driver was driving while impaired or sleep deprived.

Police offered to return a number of broken truck parts found at the scene of the crashes. Police also say they are thankful no one was injured and are asking the driver to consider the consequences of their actions.
