Palmerton’s Chris Fredericks will be continuing his academic and track and field career at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School.

Fredericks will be a four-year varsity member of the Blue Bombers team. The javelin thrower owns a personal best of 192-6.

The senior was Palmerton’s Field Athlete of the Year in both 2017 and 2018.

Fredericks, who also participated in cross country, wrestling and football, is involved in Palmerton’s Aevidum.

The son of Chris and Jessyca Fredericks, Chris plans on majoring in kinesiology.
