The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau and the chambers representing the four counties of the Pocono Mountains are teaming together to kick off the first Pocono Mountains Restaurant Month “Taste of the Poconos” campaign.

Carbon County has been successfully organizing a restaurant week for the past five years titled the “Taste of Carbon County.”

New for 2019, the groups announce the new partnership and present Pocono Mountains Restaurant Month encompassing the four counties of the Pocono Mountains: Wayne, Pike, Monroe and Carbon in northeastern Pennsylvania. Pocono Mountains Restaurant Month will take place April 22 to May 19.

A “Taste of the Poconos” is the Pocono Mountains’ official restaurant month. Participating restaurants throughout the Poconos will have a chance to offer a variety of cuisines, so customers can taste that signature dish, or sample a variety of foods sure to suit every palette.

A “Taste of the Poconos” is an excellent opportunity for local restaurants to reach new customers and have both residents and visitors learn more about the great dining options in the Pocono Mountains.
