Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold a variety of noncredit exercise classes for fitness and recreation this semester. The following classes will be held at main campus in Schnecksville.
Experience gentle, relaxing, ancient Chinese exercises with this new class Qigong. Coordinated to soft music that incorporates breathing, meditation, smooth, slow-flowing movements, this class is adaptable for all skill levels.
The following daytime and evening sessions will be held on Thursdays.
• This Thursday through March 28, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• April 4 through May 2, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
• May 9 through May 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• June 6 through June 27, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Step up your aerobics routine while going back to some good old moves with Retro Cardio. Class will be offered on Wednesdays March 6 through April 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Also new, PiYo offers a combination of Pilates and Yoga, demonstrating how to be active while stretching muscles in the best possible way. Class runs Wednesdays, May 1 through June 5, from 6 to 7 p.m.
