The Lehighton 5th and 6th grade boys basketball team recently won the Jr. Spartans All-Star Tournament held at the former Cardinal Brennan High School complex. Lehighton finished the tournament undefeated with a record of 5-0. It beat Tamaqua, Mahanoy Area, St. Nick’s and North Schuylkill to reach the title game. It then defeated Mahanoy Area for the second time to capture the championship.
