Chris Czapla, principal of the Tamaqua Area Middle School, announced the Students of the Month for the month of January: Lucia DeMarco, sixth grade; Denny Krell, sixth grade; Brandon Long, eighth grade; Sarah Bolles, eighth grade; Ella Morrison, seventh grade; and Jeremiah Williams, seventh grade.
