Breakfast

Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday at the Parryville Volunteer Fire Co. 2, 359 Main St. Platter choices include pancakes, French toast, SOS, eggs, omelets or popular Fire House Mess. Choice of meats are bacon, ham, sausage or scrapple. Includes home fries, juice and coffee. Large and small platters available. Takeouts may call 610-852-2350.

Support group

The Carbon County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends is an ongoing support group for parents, grandparents and adult siblings grieving the loss of a child, grandchild or sibling. The group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Palmerton Community Ambulance building, 501 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.

Knitting Club

The Knitting Club will meet at the Palmerton Area Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The club is free and open to anyone interested in knitting and crocheting of all skill levels.

Quilt Guild

The Sew What Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the Palmerton Area Library on Tuesday. The group explores all things related to fiber arts (spinning, weaving, etc.) Come check it out.

Teen Advisory Group

The Teen Advisory Group is for teens in grades 5-12. Meetings are held at the Palmerton Area Library the first and third Thursdays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

Gaming Grotto

Gaming Grotto is open to the public and is hosted by Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 N. Third St., Palmerton. The event is held the first and third Friday of each month. For the month of March, dates will be March 1 and 15 from 7 to 11 p.m. This is a free gaming lounge where people can build relationships through the gaming culture. Have gaming systems of all kinds and board games. Refreshments available for a light fee.

Class of 1973

Palmerton High School Class of 1973 has started its own Facebook page. Classmates are invited to join and visit with each other.
