Tamaqua Area School Board took the following action on Tuesday:

• Approved the 2019-2020 Schuylkill Technology Center budget.

• Appointed Stacey Mika as a professional substitute teacher.

• Removed Stacy Roman, Tiffany Bobeck and Gianna Salvadore as professional substitute teachers.

• Appointed Stephen Milkovits, Pamela Miller, Christina Page and Elizabeth Smallwood as professional substitute guest teachers.

• Appointed Megan Lucas as a clerical substitute.

• Approved a half unpaid day for paraprofessional Jennifer Florea.

• Appointed Khalid Holland as a substitute custodian.

• Approved a food service debt collection contract with Creditech, beginning Feb. 20, 2019, through June 30, 2020.

• Adopted the second reading of a policy related to child/student abuse.

• Approved the 2018 delinquent per capita and assessed occupation taxes with Berkheimer, and placement of real estate taxes with Portnoff Law Associates.

• Approved the 2019-20 Tamaqua Area School District calendar.

• Approved the 2019-20 Schuylkill Intermediate Unit calendar.
