Matthew Eckhart, son of Blaine and Susan Eckhart of Lehighton, has been named to the dean’s list at Lafayette College for the fall 2018 semester. Students need to attain a GPA of 3.6 or better to be named to the list.

The 2017 graduate of Lehighton Area High School is currently participating in a mechanical engineering study abroad program in Bonn, Germany, for the spring semester.

He is the grandson of Lamont and Faye Dotter, Lehighton, Arlene Eckhart of Jim Thorpe and the late Theodore Eckhart.
