A driver escaped serious injury Saturday morning after he lost control of his vehicle in East Penn township.
The man was driving east just before the intersection with Stoney Mountain Road when he lost control.
His late model pickup truck swerved to the right driving through the guide rails down an embankment landing on its side in the Lizard Creek. The driver was being evaluated by Lehighton paramedics.
The East Penn fire company responded helping to extricate the man and providing traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
