Various fundraisers are planned by Team Jim Thorpe to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Three years ago, another Team Jim Thorpe group raised $30,000 for the organization.

Team Jim Thorpe is a group of high school students headed by the society’s “Students of the Year,” Olivia Wolfe and David Richards.

Events include:

• Feb. 12: Tithing Tuesday at Union Public House in Jim Thorpe with a basket raffle.

• Feb. 17: Bake sale at Jim Thorpe Market.

• Feb. 17: Soup sale and music at Radical Wine in Lehighton.

• Feb. 23: “Kick Cancer’s Butt” at St. Luke’s Sports and Rehab in Jim Thorpe.

• Feb. 25: Spaghetti dinner at Molly Maguire’s Pub in Jim Thorpe.

• March 10: CrossFit event at Lehighton Recreation Center.
