February 5, 1965 — Palmerton uses a strong second half and a balanced scoring attack to post a 55-42 Lehigh Valley League victory over rival Lehighton. The Blue Bombers, coached by Don Holland, trail at halftime but receive four points from both George Kutta and Bobby Horn to spark a 10-0 run and grab the lead for good. Kutta finishes with a game-high 15 points, while Denny Levandusky contributes 14. Horn tallies nine points, as does Roger Lipics. Dean Schott also chips in with eight. For the Indians, Dan Bock scores a team-high 12 points.
