Notes ... Schwartz comes down from 113 pounds to 106 and slots in ahead of Ferguson based on a major decision over his counterpart at the Indian Duals earlier this month … Dellicker enters the rankings after a solid performance at the Coal Cracker Tournament over the weekend, placing sixth at 113 pounds … After a runner-up finish at the Schuylkill League Tournament Coccio placed seventh in a touch bracket at the Coal Cracker. The sophomore pinned Northwestern’s Donovan White, Palmerton’s Dennis Lombardi and grabbed an 11-1 major decision over Amorim in the seventh-place bout … Christman was solid at the Coal Cracker. The senior earned an 8-2 decision over Northwestern’s Harrison Bernhard in the quarters en route to a runner-up finish … Lalik hasn’t wrestled since Jan. 15, but owns a 3-2 decision over Haas from their match on Dec. 12 … Haas picked up a 9-8 decision over Holland at the Coal Cracker … Gonyo is out for the rest of the year with a thumb injury … The 182-pound group has a very different look this week with the additions of Williams and Watson. Watson had a really solid showing at the Coal Cracker, picking up a 10-2 major decision over Williams in the consolation semis en route to a fourth-place finish. Williams earned an 8-3 decision over Krell at the Schuylkill League Tournament. Krell topped Zeigenfuss 3-1 at leagues. Lots of time left for more movement, though. Mazzella has gone 4-1 in his last five matches. All of those victories have come by pinfall, two in the first period … Mordaunt may have suffered his first loss of the season at the Coal Cracker, but the senior battled back to win his final two matches and finish the tournament with a statement. Mordaunt picked up a 15-4 major decision over Salisbury’s Jonah Nisenbaum in the third-place match. Mordaunt topped Nisenbaum 3-0 in the final at the Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament in December … Much like 182, the 285-pound group is loaded, All four that are ranked left the Coal Cracker with some sort of hardware. Hunter placed first, Strouse fourth and Schaffer eighth. Flamer won the 285-pound title in the JV tournament. Though he doesn’t have enough matches to qualify for the rankings, keep an eye on Panthers’ 285-pounder Aaron Eidem (4-2), who made his season debut Jan. 23 against Williams Valley. Eidem pinned Schaffer in 31 seconds in his opening round match at the Coal Cracker, and figures to be a factor by the end of the season. All four of his wins have come by fall in under a minute. The longest bout of his four wins was his first against the Vikings’ Faizan Ali, which ended in 48 seconds. The others have lasted 31, 24 and 30 seconds, respectively.
