The Palmerton boys and girls basketball teams posted wins over Salisbury on Monday. The win for the boys clinched a district playoff berth.
The Jim Thorpe girls remained undefeated, while the Tamaqua and Marian girls also earned victories.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Palmerton-Salisbury
Nate Dougherty’s 22 points helped lead Palmerton to a 72-63 Colonial League victory over Salisbury.
Justin Hosier also added 18 points for the Blue Bombers (11-8; 8-6), who clinched a district playoff berth with the win.
Kody Kratzer contributed 11 points, while Owen Buck tallied 10.

Palmerton had four players reach double figures during its 70-37 Colonial League victory over Salisbury.
Baylee Guedes led the Blue Bombers with 23 points, while Brianna Moore had 16.
Raegan Nemeth and Kayla Nothstein each chipped in with 10 points for Palmerton (9-10; 8-6), which used a 15-4 second quarter to take control of the game.

Emma Kuczynski scored a game-high 29 points for the Blue Raiders.
Emily Titus added 10 points as Tamaqua (15-3; 9-2) clinched at least a tie for the Division 1 wildcard.

Skyler Searfoss led Jim Thorpe with 25 points as the Olympians posted a 55-30 Schuylkill League win over Lehighton.
Lelia Hurley contributed 16 points as Thorpe remained undefeated at 16-0 overall and 10-0 in the league. Olivia Smelas also chipped in with eight points for the Olympians, who clinched a berth in the league playoffs.
For the Indians (8-11; 2-9), Tinaya Klotz scored a team-high 15 points.
